Volunteers

The Edmund Rice Network is a diverse range of organisations so the process for volunteer placement differs from group to group. To access up-to-date information on opportunities, you will need to contact individual organisations. However, below is an overview of some of the ongoing options, both locally and internationally.

Edmund Rice Camps NZ:  17 – 25 year olds have the opportunity to be leaders on camps during the school holidays. Dunedin, Auckland, Murupara and Australia. Training provided.

Edmund Rice Justice Trust Aotearoa: Join the Justice Group, young adults working in areas of advocacy and awareness of social justice issues. Other opportunities arise according to specific projects.

Edmund Rice Oceania/Trustees of the Christian Brothers:  Provides opportunities to volunteer across most continents of the globe for periods of several months to a year. Over the last 10 years, volunteers from New Zealand have contributed in a variety of ways in Australia, Rarotonga, East Timor, Philippines, Tanzania, Kenya and India.
